Early Morning Preparations
The day starts early at Sun Kool Air Conditioning, Inc. By 6:30 AM, I’m already reviewing the day’s service schedule and loading my truck with the essential parts and tools needed for furnace repairs and heating system maintenance.
First Call – Wildwood
Our first stop is in Wildwood, where a homeowner reported their heating system making unusual noises. These early morning calls are common during Florida’s cooler months when heating systems kick in after months of dormancy.
Mid-Morning – The Villages
By mid-morning, I’m heading to The Villages for a routine furnace maintenance appointment. This is the perfect time to:
• Check heating elements
• Clean or replace filters
• Inspect electrical connections
• Test safety controls
• Verify proper airflow
Afternoon Tasks
The afternoon takes me to Ocala for a heater installation consultation. Florida residents might not use their heating systems as frequently as those up north, but when they need them, they need them to work perfectly.
Late Afternoon – Lady Lake
Before wrapping up, there’s a heating repair call in Lady Lake. Winter evenings can get chilly in Central Florida, and ensuring everyone stays warm is our priority.
End of Day
Back at the shop in Summerfield, I complete paperwork, restock supplies, and prepare for tomorrow’s calls. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our community stay comfortable during those unexpected cold snaps.
Remember, whether you’re in Oxford or anywhere else in our service area, preventative maintenance is key to avoiding emergency repairs during the coldest days of the year.
