A Typical Workday at Pats Heating and Air

Early Morning Prep

My day starts bright and early at 6 AM. After grabbing a quick cup of coffee, I load up my van with all the essential tools and supplies I’ll need for the day’s scheduled appointments. Checking the job details one last time, I hit the road, ready to tackle whatever heating or air conditioning issues come my way.

First Stop: Furnace Service

  • My first appointment is a routine furnace service call for a loyal customer. I arrive promptly at their home and get to work:
  • Inspect the furnace for any potential issues or signs of wear
  • Clean and adjust the various components to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Test the safety controls and thermostats to ensure proper operation
  • Answer any questions the customer may have about their system

With the furnace running smoothly, I’m off to the next job.

Emergency Heating Repair

Next up is an emergency call for a customer with no heat. Upon arrival, I quickly diagnose the problem as a failed ignitor in their furnace. Luckily, I have a replacement part in my van, and within an hour, I have their heating system back up and running. The grateful homeowners thank me profusely for my prompt and efficient service.

Lunchtime and More Appointments

After a quick lunch break, I tackle a couple more jobs in the afternoon:

  • A furnace replacement for an older unit that has reached the end of its lifespan
  • A routine maintenance check on a commercial building’s rooftop HVAC units

Throughout the day, I make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed to maintain my focus and energy levels.

Wrapping Up and Preparing for Tomorrow

As the sun sets, I head back to the office to restock my van and file any necessary paperwork. Before calling it a day, I check the schedule for tomorrow and make a mental note of any special tools or materials I might need.

It’s been a busy but rewarding day, and I take pride in knowing that I’ve helped keep countless homes and businesses comfortable and energy-efficient. Time to rest up and get ready for another day on the job!
